Minnesota is home to the bicycle kick goal of the weekend

Get on your bike.

Minnesota United beat Indy Eleven, 5-1, not that anyone cared about the other five goals. Only one goal really mattered.

Should Christian Ramirez have been able to chest the ball, let it float in the air and then try an overhead kick with so little pressure? Probably not, but then we wouldn’t have gotten this goal. Indy Eleven did us all a favor and let Ramirez blow our minds with a goal so good it obscured the rest of the match.

For one week, the Goal of the Week in the U.S. definitely goes to NASL. MLS isn’t touching this.

Updated after original opening sentence was poorly worded.
