Keisuke Honda takes one of the worst corner kicks ever

Corner kicks are a pretty simple task. Kick the ball towards the goal, in play and towards teammates. Bad ones are collected by the goalkeeper or end up 15 yards from goal.

And then there’s whatever this kick by Keisuke Honda is.

It checks off nearly every box of worst kick ever:

- Out of play
- Bizarre trajectory
- Never had a chance of meeting a teammate
- Preseason so nobody has to cry over it

All that was missing was him falling on his butt.
