Players seem to be dropping out of the MLS All-Star Game at a steady rate these days. Shortly after Seattle Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid informed reporters that Chad Marshall had been pulled from the game due to injury, a report from Goal.com has suggested the LA Galaxy won't be allowing Omar Gonzalez or Robbie Keane to participate in Wednesday's game against Bayern Munich either.

LA Galaxy apparently concerned about duo’s preparedness for a league match two days later.

The Galaxy's concern, apparently, is that they have a league match against the San Jose Earthquakes on the following Friday, meaning two of their key players would potentially have little time to recover or prepare. The Earthquakes have no similar concerns as they don't have any players in the All-Star Game. It is expected, however, that Landon Donovan will play some kind of limited roll in the exhibition match.
Also according to Goal's report, D.C. United center back Bobby Boswell will replace Gonzalez on the All-Star Game roster. It is also expected that Dom Dwyer -- wildly considered to be the most notable snub as he has scored the second most goals in MLS this season -- will replace Keane. It is not known who would replace Marshall.
