— QPR FC (@QPRFC) August 20, 2014 He was part of the Norwich side that was relegated from the Premier League last season, though he still made it into Louis van Gaal's squad for the World Cup in Brazil. He showed himself to be a pretty solid midfielder, and one that should feature regularly for the Hoops in their first season back in the top flight.
Fer is QPR's fifth arrival of the summer, after Steven Caulker and Jordon Mutch joined from Cardiff, Mauricio Isla from Juventus, and Rio Ferdinand from Manchester United. Harry Redknapp is managing to assemble a squad with an impressive blend of quality youth and experience, and if reports are to be believed, Napoli forward Eduardo Vargas could soon follow Fer into Loftus Road.
