Blackpool fan gets jersey with ‘Trialist’ on the back

He’s Blackpool’s No. 9.

Blackpool didn’t have any money. As a result, they didn’t have a team.

They canceled a preseason trip to Spain because they only had seven players and had to scramble to field a full team for the start of the Championship season. Even then, they didn’t have a complete bench.

All Blackpool have had is a bunch of trialists. And the club has called each of them “Trialist.” And one Blackpool fan wanted to get a jersey with the club’s best player on it.

He scores when he wants. He scores when he waaaaaants. Ohhh, Trialist, he scores when he wants.
