Xabi Alonso has been dropped, meaning Madrid are playing just two true central midfielders. Their lineup has been listed as a 4-3-3 in some places, but they previously played 4-4-2 with this personnel.

Cordoba are debuting new signing Mike Havenaar, a Japanese international target man, in addition to a number of loanees. They’ll probably play through their wingers -- a couple of young, quick players -- and look to cross to Havenaar.
