Two teams score right after kickoffs they didn’t take

It was a weekend for goals right after kickoff.

It’s really hard to score right after the opening kickoff. That’s why it’s so amazing when Bayer Leverkusen score after nine seconds. But there is something even tougher -- scoring right after a kickoff that your team doesn’t even take.

Not only do you have to score right away, but you have to win the ball back first too.

And it happened twice this weekend. First, Santos Laguna managed the feat.

Then, Austria Wien did it.

So Toluca and Rapid Wien managed to give the ball away off the kickoff and concede inside of 15 seconds. Good work. Thank you for this amazement.
