Manchester City vs. Liverpool: Lineups

Both teams have made slight changes to their lineups for this marquee early season matchup between City and the Reds.

Monday brings us the marquee match of the second round of the Premier League as the defending champions Manchester City face off against Liverpool, the team that finished second behind them in the table. Here's how the two teams will lineup.

Brendan Rodgers has made two changes to his starting lineup from Liverpool's opening weekend victory over Southampton. Alberto Moreno makes his first start for the Reds, taking over at fullback from Javi Manquillo. IN the midfield Joe Allen, who came on as a sub last week, gets a start over Lucas Leiva.

Manchester City starting linuep (4-2-3-1): Joe Hart; Pablo Zabaleta, Martin Demichelis, Vincent Kompany, Gael Clichy; Yaya Touré, Fernando; David Silva, Steven Jovetić, Samir Nasri; Eden Džeko.

Liverpool starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Simon Mignolet; Glen Johnson, Dejan Lovren, Martin Škrtel, Alberto Moreno; Joe Allen, Steven Gerrard; Raheem Sterling, Phillipe Coutinho, Jordan Henderson; Daniel Sturridge.
