It’s time for the draw to determine who faces whom in the group stage of the 2014-2015 UEFA Champions League. Nervous about the opposition your team will be up against? Simply excited for the kick-off to one of the biggest sporting events on the planet?
UEFA Champions League draw: Time, TV schedule and live stream information
Multiple TV channels in Europe will provide live coverage of the Champions League draw, but in case you’re looking to watch live elsewhere, UEFA will graciously provide a feed.
Well, the actual group stage matches won’t begin until Tuesday, September 16, but that doesn’t mean you can’t tune in for the draw. It’s held Thursday, August 28 in Monaco, and it’s sure to be a glitzy, glamorous, thrilling affair.
Or perhaps not. But at least you’ll be able to watch rather than depend on 172 Twitter accounts announcing each group within milliseconds of one another. UEFA is kind enough to host live streaming of the event -- in six languages. The English stream can be found here.
In the UK, you can watch the draw on Eurosport 2 or on Sky Sports. If you’re in the US, it’s on Fox Soccer Plus and Fox Deportes. Again, you can always tune in online as well.
