The groups for this season’s UEFA Europa League are set after Friday’s draw placed the 48 participating teams into 12 groups.
Inter Milan, Everton and Tottenham learn fates in Europa League draw
The 2014/15 Europa League group stages are set after Friday’s draw in Monaco.


Two Premier League teams will be involved including Everton who return to European play for the first time since the 2009/10 season. They Toffess landed in a tough Group H that includes Lille, Wolfsburg, and Krasnodar. Tottenham were drawn into Group C with Besiktas, Partizan Belgrade and Asteras Tripoli. Spurs will get a chance to beat Besiktas, just like their rivals Arsenal did in the Champions League qualifying playoff.
Villarreal was drawn into Group A with German side Borussia Mönchengladbach, while the defending Europa League champions Sevilla are in Group G with Standard Liège and Feyenoord.
Four Italian sides -- Inter Milan, Napoli, Torino and Fiorentina -- are also in the group stages which begin on Thursday, September 18.
