Micah Richards fires penalty kick into Row Z

Maybe Richards should have kicked it harder?

Hannah Foslien

Manchester City went to penalties in a preseason friendly. The stadium was half-empty and nothing really mattered. And yet Micah Richards looked like he crumbled under the pressure, or just lost his mind, or thought it'd be a good idea to focus on kicking the ball as hard as humanly possible.

None of them were good approaches, and the result was an assault on Row Z.

Maybe Row Z was just really mean to Micah and Micah got his payback. Point, Michah.

But City probably won’t call upon Richards to take a penalty during the season.
