Mame Diouf’s goal against Manchester City was magic
He just bulldozed his way through guys for 80 yards.
This is Stoke City striker Mame Diouf scoring an absolutely brilliant goal against Manchester City. His run was so long that it doesn't fit in a Vine without getting chopped up. He wins the ball on the edge of his own box, then goes on a solo run of about 80 yards, directly beating two defenders in the process and running by a few more, before scoring between Joe Hart's legs.
Someone on City should have stopped him, but let’s marvel for a second at the fact that they didn’t. That he nutmegged one guy, sprinted past another and then made Hart look like an idiot. This might not be named the goal of the week -- people seem to like volleys like the one Wayne Routledge put in earlier -- but it’ll end up the best from one individual. People get lucky on 30-yard bombs all the time. There’s no luck involved here. Diouf just bulldozed the hell out of people.
