EPL scores: Crystal Palace draws Newcastle in six-goal thriller, Manchester City falls at home

United drops points again, City lose at home, Newcastle and Crystal Palace played to a wild draw. Just another Saturday in the Premier League.

Manchester United's bad start is threatening to become a full-fledged nightmare after the Red Devils were held to a scoreless draw by Burnley. Despite the debut of new record signing Ángel di María, United were out-shot by Burnley and remain win-less after three league matches this season.

The defending champions Manchester City were stunned at home by Stoke City 1-0. Mame Biram Diouf scored the match's lone goal in the 58th minute to give the Potters the win, but City will be left seething after a penalty against Yaya Touré went uncalled late in the match, with the referee instead giving Touré a yellow card for diving.

Swansea's Wayne Routledge scored a tremendous aerobatic goal as Swansea City cruised to a 3-0 win over West Brom, while Southampton overturned a 1-0 deficit to hammer West Ham 3-1 and claim their first win of the season. Queens Park Rangers also won their first match of the year thanks to Charlie Austin's goal in first half stoppage time.

Newcastle United and Crystal Palace drew in a wild six-goal thriller that featured two goals in the final seven minutes. With the teams tied 2-2 in the 88th minute, Michael Williamson scored what looked like would be the match winner for the Magpies. Five minutes into stoppage time, newly acquired Wilfried Zaha saved a point for Palace beating Tim Krul.
