The MLS All-Star game, the league's most glorified friendly, takes place on Wednesday night in Portland at Providence Park. A hodge podge of MLS players will face Bayern Munich, who are continuing preseason preparations for their upcoming European season (9:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes).

Several players who were voted on to he team by fans will not play after pulling out due to injuries. Chad Marshall, Robbie Keane, Omar Gonzalez, and Jermain Defore. Kyle Beckerman's late injury has given Liam Ridgewell a spot on the team, despite the fact he's only played three league matches total.
American soccer fans should get another chance to see Julian Green as he continues to try to earn his place on Bayern's first team. Several of their biggest stars should see time as well, including new striker Robert Lewandowski who's been scoring goals at a fast pace in the preseason.
