Matija Nastasić could be on the move, to Arsenal or Tottenham

David Rogers

Matija Nastasić may find himself heading to London by the end of Transfer Deadline Day. The defender, bought by Manchester City just two years ago, is being eyed by both Arsenal and Tottenham -- if the rumor mill is to be believed, of course.

The 21-year-old impressed in his first season at City and was a regular fixture in the starting XI. However, injury kept him from play last season, and he was never able to fight his way back into the first team.

The Serbian international is still young, and still talented. He’d make a quality addition to either Arsenal or Spurs, both of which are in need of some serious defensive reinforcement.

This rumor ties back to the biggest question mark surrounding the day: Where is Radamel Falcao headed? If Manchester City want him, they’re going to need to raise funds, so they’re out to sell players that are just sitting around, taking up valuable money.
