Liverpool use Bart Simpson to ask fans not to swear in Steven Gerrard song

Liverpool fans don’t want their fans to swear (ha) and used Bart Simpson to ask them (haha).

Steven Gerrard is a Liverpool legend. Unsurprisingly, Liverpool fans like to sing a song for him and, probably more unsurprisingly, it includes a naughty word.

The Reds supporters sing, “he’s big and he’s f**king hard,” which now displease the Liverpool brass, who are asking fans to cut the swear word out. And they’re doing it via Bart Simpson.

The caption to the photo reads, He’s big and he’s VERY hard! #LFC @stevengerrard”

Liverpool understand what it is to be cool. Bart Simpson, is cool.

You know what’s not cool? Swearing isn’t cool.

And so the Liverpool fans will surely stop swearing in their Gerrard song because they have been told to do something not cool by someone who is cool.

Or, and this is a wild possibility, Liverpool fans don’t care what Bart Simpson has to say and will probably emphasize the swear word next time they sing the song so it comes through louder and clearer than ever before. Just a wild guess.
