Barcelona vs. APOEL live stream: How to watch the UEFA Champions League online

Barcelona are still blending in their new signings that are allowed to play and waiting for Luis Suarez's suspension to end, but they shouldn't have too much of a problem on Wednesday. They open their Champions League campaign at home against APOEL (2:45 p.m. ET, FOX regional networks), and they'll be heavy favorites.

New manager Luis Enrique has made some changes at Barca in coordination with the backroom staff, bringing in a hoard of real, actual defenders ahead of their impending transfer ban. Jeremy Mathieu has been starting, while Thomas Vermaelen should get his opportunity soon enough. Meanwhile, Ivan Rakitic has been playing in midfield in place of Xavi, leading to speculation about whether the Barcelona legend might bolt for MLS or the Middle East sometime soon.

Unfortunately for American fans of the Blaugrana, this game is not one of the ones that ESPN has as part of their sublicensed package for the UEFA Champions League, so it’s not on ESPN3 or Watch ESPN. There are two ways to watch the game online, both through FOX.

The first is FOX Sports Go, where you can watch the game for free if you are a subscriber to FOX Deportes or one of the regional networks that will be showing the game. If you don’t have access to that service, your other option is FOX Soccer 2 Go, a paid service that does not require a TV subscription.

You can find the game on Sky Go in the U.K. and Sportsnet World Now in Canada. For listings from other countries, check out LiveSoccerTV.
