MLS unveils new logo, helpfully points out what stars look like
Major League Soccer unveiled a new logo for its 20th season. Here it is!

Breaking down what these words ~actually~ mean.
Perimeter. The perimeter is a continuous line that forms a boundary. The line in question is that and does this!
First, and second half. Of ... a soccer game?
Slash.
Stars. Yes.
Wordmark. Major League soccer explains: “MLS stands for Major League Soccer.” OK.
There are club versions of the MLS Crest, too.
These are growing on me already. #MLS pic.twitter.com/QBB4C2rnN2

The MLS logo is dreadful. Please RT.
— Richard Whittall (@RWhittall) September 18, 2014 Don't get me wrong. The new crest is a huge improvement but that's not saying much of anything.
— Mark Yesilevskiy (@MarkWhyy) September 18, 2014 Then again, these are the other major logos so ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
These logos *all* suck pic.twitter.com/oIpmcmhbwk
