After bringing back the designs of the 1994 Predator and 1998 Predator Accelerator for the first two parts of the Revenge Pack trio of boot releases. The Predator and Accelerator were crowd favorites back in the day and it’s no surprise that the masses jumped on the Instinct-based re-releases which were only available in very limited quantities worldwide. adidas is, of course, preying on fans’ sense of nostalgia and it’s totally working. The third and final Revenge Pack boot sold out in no time flat.
adidas re-introduce and sell out of Predator Mania in latest Revenge Pack release
Step 1: Release awesome retro-inspired boots.Step 2: ???Step 3: Profit.

Based on 2002’s Predator Mania, the Instinct version features very similar looks to the original with modern touches that mimic the changes on the Mania’s Revenge Pack siblings. Gone is the old (and preferred, for much of the fan base, at least) kangaroo leather upper which has been replaced by a new HybridTouch upper like the one found on the Predator Instinct and the Lethal Zones before it. The boot also features the Instinct’s Control Frame outsole which has been colorized to look like the original Mania’s.
The red heel counter is back with three, small, white stripes up the back for a very distinctive look that contrasts nicely against the black upper and white adidas stripes. The Predator elements that run down the instep of both feet are also white and feature a profile and texture that looks nearly identical to the original. The big, red flappy tongue is back too and is complete with the famous elastic band that slipped under the outsole to help keep the laces concealed.
While the new Mania is out, good luck getting your hands on a pair. The boot sold out globally shortly after its release. The next Predator release from adidas will be unveiled in a month’s time with the Predator Instinct Crazylight coming up on the block.
