Portugal’s U-17 goal will blow your mind

Portugal suffered a disappointing group stage exit at the World Cup and followed it up with a loss to Andorra in their first Euro 2016 qualifier. That led Paulo Bento to quit as manager and with Cristiano Ronaldo already 29 years old, the future of the national team looks in doubt.

Or not?

The Portugal U-17 team is out here scoring flying, twisting, curling volleys into the top corner and making everything okay. Who needs Ronaldo anyway?

Portugal are favorites to win the 2022 World Cup.

Note: It is possible that one goal at the youth level is not indicative of future national team success. See: all of football history.
