Alvaro Morata forgot how to football

Alvaro Morata is a 21-year-old Real Madrid academy product who scored 11 goals for the Merengues last season and impressed enough that Juventus shelled out €20 million for him this summer. Needless to say, he knows how to football.
But apparently he forgot.
Taking a ball six yards from goal, awkwardly and slowly turning and then whiffing on your attempted shot is not football. But Morata did it. And we thank him for doing so.
Too often, youth sensations are brilliant. Too often, they fade away. So rarely are they good, but with just a hint of young giraffe syndrome, unsure how their limbs work so as to provide us with amusement.
Morata is that rare man.
