Gareth Bale runs over fan’s foot

Gonzalo Arroyo Moreno

You could wonder what Gareth Bale is doing running over a fan's foot as she tries to get a look and/or autograph and/or photo with the Real Madrid star, but it's pretty clear. People crowd his car and he can't see all of their extremities. It's almost inevitable, which begs another question.

How doesn’t this happen more often?

Fans hang out at training grounds to crowd players’ cars and get photos and autographs all the time. They swarm cars and, eventually, the players do have to go, but the fans rarely clear a path. You would think that this would happen daily, but no.

The good news is that she appeared fine and was laughing about it.
