Manchester United fans fly ‘Come Home Ronaldo’ banner

Gonzalo Arroyo Moreno

Manchester United fans are still sad that Cristiano Ronaldo left them. It may be because he has been the best player in the world over the last year, or it may be because the Red Devils have gone downhill, but they're playing the role of jilted and desperate lover now. And they're playing it well too.

The Red Devils supporters have no shame in their desperation, flying a banner over the stadium at Real Madrid vs. Villarreal that read "Come Home Ronaldo."

There was no indication that Ronaldo saw it. He was, after all, busy playing a match, but he was also scoring his 10th goal on the young season so it’s probably a good idea for Manchester United and their fans to do whatever they can in an attempt to lure him back. It’s not like the Red Devils have room for dignity anyway. Just look at their defense.
