Graziano Pelle scores amazing bicycle kick

Pop it up, hit a bicycle kick, let everyone mob you.

Steve Bardens

When you collect a pass from 10 yards with your back towards goal, you are not supposed to score. You’re not even supposed to try.

Graziano Pelle didn’t get the memo so he flicked the ball up to himself then hit a bicycle kick. It was the work of a madman. And a genius.

Fundamentals and clinical be damned, the best things in football happen when the player has no business trying things, let alone pulling them off. You take your tidy player, I’ll take my Pelle.
