Robbie Keane adds perfect chipped goal to his MVP case

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

He scores when he wants, he scores when he waaaaants. Robbie Keane, he scores when he wants.

And what he wants is to chip the goalkeeper. And score. And for the LA Galaxy to win.

Check. Check. Check.

Robbie Keane may be the front runner for MLS MVP. There are so many players in the mix that it’s hard to figure out just who the leader is, but scoring goals like this will help. So will the second goal he scored in the match. And the three points, which keep the Galaxy tied atop the Supporters’ Shield table, will also help.

The point here is that Keane is really awesome, and he’s scoring great goals, and the Galaxy are great.
