Manchester United signed Marcos Rojo nearly two weeks ago, but he wasn't able to participate in the club's last three games because of issues with a work permit. After a fairly lengthy process, Rojo has finally been granted a work permit, and can play for Manchester United against Queens Park Rangers on September 14.
Marcos Rojo granted work permit, can now play for Manchester United

The hold-up in getting a work permit for Rojo was reportedly due to an altercation that occurred in his native Argentina back in 2010, for which he’s facing charges. His lawyer claims that the alleged assault will not affect his career with Manchester United, even if he is eventually found guilty.
Without Rojo, Manchester United have been extremely thin in defense. Youngster Tyler Blackett has exceeded expectations, but Louis Van Gaal would probably still prefer not to start him if he can help it. Meanwhile. Jonny Evans has had a rough start to the season. Van Gaal is probably expecting Rojo and fellow new arrival Daley Blind to become first choice players very quickly.
