Euro 2016 qualifying kicks off on Sunday, nearly two years away from the actual tournament. For the next European club season and a half, players will be taken from their club teams to attempt to qualify for the European Championships, which lots of people will continue to be very mad about.
Euro 2016 qualifying: Schedule and fixtures for Sunday

Qualifying won’t get really good until the final rounds, when it’s clear which big teams are in trouble and which ones aren’t, but there are still some very watchable games in this set of fixtures. The new qualifying format should make this more interesting for mid-level teams as well -- 24 teams qualify for Euro 2016, so third-placed teams in each group go to a playoff.
Sunday marks the debut of Gibraltar, who have recently been admitted to FIFA. This is their first attempt at qualifying for a major tournament, and more likely than not, they're going to join the ranks of San Marino, Andorra and the Faroe Islands in struggling to get a single point from qualifying. Don't beat them up too bad, Poland.
