Mario Balotelli wishes kids a happy first day of school

Laurence Griffiths

The first day of school is tough for kids. They have to wake up early again, get out of bed and hurry to a place where they are obligated to pay attention, engage and strain themselves. It’s the complete opposite of their beloved summer and, for a lot of kids, it’s the worst day of the year.

Yesterday was the first day of school for a lot of kids in Europe and Mario Balotelli, knowing how much of a struggle it would be, wished them good luck.

Who better to send kids off to their place of learning than Balotelli?

The video also came with a message:

“Hi kids, today starts school in most countries. It’s like the beginning of the season in football. It’s therefore time to start giving Your best as this helps shape your future. Good luck!”

Learning and reading is important. After all, Mario likes readiing (while dancing and ironing).

Stay in school, kids. Mario told you to and look how cool he is.
