Lots of players dive and fake injuries, but to do that as a reaction to hitting another player in the face is next level.
Akeem Humphrey was playing for Trinidad and Tobago in the CONCACAF U-20 Championship when he smacked a Panamanian player in the face. It was terrible and left the Panamanian understandably hurt.
And it also left Humphrey hurt?
Humphrey’s reaction to hitting someone was to fall down, roll around and grab his face. It was ridiculous and terrible, but turned comical when the referee came over, showed him a red card and then he sat in the dressing room as the Soca Warriors slumped to a 1-0 loss.
Isn’t it great when comedy and justice come together?
