World’s strongest professional footballer scores for Wimbledon against Liverpool

If you don’t follow lower-league English football, you might not be familiar with AFC Wimbledon striker Adebayo Akinfenwa. He’s just about the only high-level footballer in the world who tops out at over 220 pounds and regularly has the highest strength rating on FIFA, but he’s known for more than just that.
Akinfenwa’s actually quite an effective goal-scorer, not just a novelty player. He scored 10 times in League One last season -- a division higher than where Wimbledon currently play -- and he’s notched double-digit goals in the Football League in seven different seasons.
With that background information squared away, holy crap, check out this goal! Akinfenwa uses his insane strength twice on this play, first out-muscling Simon Mignolet in the air to knock the ball down, then shrugging him off a second time to get to the rebound and poke it in, equalizing for Wimbledon.
He’s a treasure, and the more people who get to find out about him, the better.
Update: Everyone’s favorite 300-pound quarterback is a fan.
