Europa League Week 3: Match schedule and how to watch online

The Europa League has been as fun and chaotic as ever, and if you want to watch some fun matches between a bunch of teams with nothing to lose and everything to gain, this is where to go. Since there’s so many matches in the Europa League during the group stage, it can be hard to figure out what to watch. Fortunately, we’re here for you, and we’ve picked out the best match for you to watch from each kickoff time today.

“Wait a second,” you’re wondering. “You want me to watch a match with a team from Azerbaijan? I don’t even know where that is.” That’s certainly fair, but bear with us, because Qabala have actually been pretty darn good in their first two group matches this season. That and the leveling factor of the looooong trip out to Azerbaijan -- it’s over four thousand kilometers from Dortmund to Qabala, or just a little under 2,500 miles -- means that we could be in for a surprisingly even match. Even if we’re not and Dortmund runs rampant like you’d expect, BVB have still been incredibly entertaining under Thomas Teuchel and are well worth watching no matter what.

Anderlecht are a side built to play tough, but also feature some exciting attacking talent like Dennis Praet, Youri Tielemans, Andy Najar, and Stefano Okaka. With those guys backed up by some quality veterans around and behind them in midfield and defense, Tottenham won’t be able to just roll into Belgium and assume they can win. They’re going to have to work and work very hard to get all three points, and with their up-and-down recent form, that might be easier said than done.

With a Klopp-lead Liverpool, a red-hot Napoli and an always-fun Villarreal all in this same time slot, this might seem like a strange choice. But this might be the most evenly matched game of the group, with Ajax’s steadily improving team on the road against the veteran star power of Fenerbahçe. Neither team has lived up to expectations so far in their group, but with the likes of Robin Van Persie, Nani, Raul Meireles, Lazar Markovic, Viktor Fischer, Anwar El Ghazi, and Davy Klaassen on the pitch going head-to-head, we should be in for an entertaining match no matter the result.
