The first Manchester Derby of the season is here, and for the first time since Alex Ferguson was in charge at Old Trafford, it has big-time stakes. Either Manchester City or Manchester United can go top of the Premier League table with a victory in Sunday’s big match.
Manchester United vs. Manchester City 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online
This Manchester Derby might tell us a lot about the title race.

In a wild Premier League season where no one has looked convincing, City have emerged as narrow title favorites. They lost a couple games in a row earlier in the month, but have won their last two in a row and come into this derby with a plus-16 goal differential. United have been much less convincing and got hammered by Arsenal just a few weeks ago, but comfortably won their last Premier League game, away to Everton.
Of the two sides, Manchester City has the much worse injury list. Sergio Aguero and David Silva are the biggest stars that are likely to miss out, while Fabian Delph, Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy are all carrying injuries as well. Manchester United will be without Luke Shaw and Patrick McNair for sure, while Ashley Young and James Wilson will be game-time decisions.
