This poor drone was innocently flying over a training pitch as a bunch of youth soccer players were doing their thing. It was just minding it’s own drone business. Doing drone things.
Be careful with your drones around soccer fields
This drone’s pilot is probably wishing he had flown it a little higher.
Then some kid kicked a ball high up into the air and smashed that poor drone out of the sky. What did that drone do to deserve such treatment? That kid just destroyed an expensive piece of technology that was just trying to be helpful by taping his practice. That’s just cruel.
Seriously, though, accident or otherwise, that’s a pretty impressive shot. It’s hard enough to hit a stationary object on the ground by kicking a soccer ball at it, but that high up and in motion? That kid might have a future in the game.
