Liverpool vs. Everton 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The Merseyside Derby could turn either team’s season around.

This season has not gone according to plan so far for Everton or Liverpool, with the latter side having more problems meeting their goals. But the Merseyside Derby can change everything for either team if they can come out of it with a win on Sunday.

Everton are undefeated in their last four games in the Premier League, and recorded an impressive comeback win over West Bromwich Albion in their last match. They went down by two goals in the first half, but Romelu Lukaku turned in a dominant second-half performance, scoring twice and assisting another goal in a 3-2 victory. Previously, they beat Chelsea at home and did well to draw away to both Swansea City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool are coming off a win domestically, but their supporters were less than impressed with their victory over Aston Villa. They’ve also struggled in other competitions, going to penalties against League Two side Carlisle in the League Cup and drawing Sion in the Europa League on Thursday.

When they last met

Neither team got an upper hand in last year’s editions of the Merseyside Derby. Everton pulled out a miracle late draw at Anfield last September, with Phil Jagielka scoring a stoppage time winner. In the return fixture at Goodison Park, the two sides played to a 0-0 stalemate.

Will Brendan Rodgers get sacked if he loses?

Quite possibly. Liverpool fans -- even the most optimistic and loyal among them -- are calling for Rodgers to leave the club. Fenway Sports Group backed him this summer despite a horrible conclusion to last season, indicating they’re going to be patient, but they’re going to have a massive PR problem on their hands if Rodgers sticks around after an embarrassing derby loss. Perhaps his continued employment is dependent on the interest or lack thereof from Jürgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti in the position.
