An international friendly between Belgium and Spain that was scheduled for Tuesday will not be played. The Belgian FA said that they could not put their players and fans at risk by allowing the game to go forward, and the Spanish national team has already flown home from Brussels.

Authorities are currently conducting a manhunt for Salah Abdeslam, a Belgian citizen and suspect in Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris that killed over 100 people, as well as other attackers and accomplices. On Monday, Belgium raised their terror threat level, indicating that they believe there is a serious threat.

“We weren’t scared. We were calm in the hotel, there wasn’t any problem,” said Spanish coach Vicente Del Bosque, who wished the game could go forward. “We trained with tranquillity, we’ve prepared for the game like any other, but the authorities will have felt they couldn’t guarantee the security of everybody, the players and spectators. Hopefully there won’t be any more suspensions. We’re here to play sport and entertain people.”

France also had a game scheduled for Tuesday, and that game will go forward. That game is at 3 p.m. against England at Wembley Stadium.
