Chelsea have won only three Premier League matches since the start of the season, leaving the defending champions, rather incredibly, in 16th place. Though they still seem much too good to be sucked into a genuine relegation scrap, things don't seem to be improving at Stamford Bridge. A home defeat to fellow strugglers Norwich City on Saturday could well prove to be the final straw for manager José Mourinho.

Chelsea will look to halt their slump against fellow strugglers Norwich City on Saturday.

Norwich only won promotion via the playoffs last season, but Alex Neil's side are just about managing to keep their heads above water. The Canaries ended a run of four straight league defeats with a 1-0 win at home to Swansea City before the international break, and provisionally find themselves four points above the bottom three. They're still nowhere near being comfortable, but they're certainly competitive.
Key player: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
Like everyone in the Chelsea dressing room, Eden Hazard has struggled to show his very best form this season. But unlike almost everyone else in Mourinho’s starting lineup, the Belgian is a world class talent. His handy knack of breaking down deep-lying defences with a dribble or a pass is sure to come in handy in this match, when Chelsea play host to one of the most negative sides in the division.
Recent history
Unsurprisingly, Chelsea have generally got the better of their meetings with Norwich over the years. Their last league clash in May 2014 was a goalless draw, but Chelsea had won six of their seven previous meetings with the Canaries. One has to go all the way back to Dec. 1994 for the last time Norwich beat the Blues, though that still wasn’t enough to prevent them from going on to be relegated.
Chelsea injuries and suspensions
Out: Thibaut Courtois (knee). In doubt: Radamel Falcao (muscle); Kurt Zouma (knock).
Norwich City injuries and suspensions
Out: Matthew Jarvis (knee). In doubt: Nathan Redmond (thigh).
Chelsea are still without goalkeeper Courtois, while striker Falcao and defender Zouma could join the Belgian on the sidelines.
Meanwhile, Norwich’s only certain absentee is Jarvis, though his fellow winger Redmond remains doubtful.
