Manchester City vs. Juventus 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch Champions League online

Juventus will be hoping to join Manchester City in the Champions League knockouts when they meet in Turin on Wednesday.

It has been a strange season for Juventus. The Italian outfit, which has cruised to the Serie A title four years running and finished as runners-up to Barcelona in the Champions League last season, suddenly finds itself struggling and has already been cut nine points adrift of Serie A leaders Inter Milan. However, three straight domestic wins have eased the immediate pressure on coach Massimiliano Allegri, whose attention will now turn to trying to keep Juve in the Champions League.

The good news is that they should be able to achieve it. They play host to group leaders Manchester City (who have already booked their place in the next round) on Wednesday knowing that even a defeat would leave them in second place. A loss would even be enough to see them through into the knockouts provided Sevilla's match away at Borussia Mönchengladbach ends in a draw.

Suffice to say, Juve’s provisional five-point lead over the Spaniards is a very healthy one. They may even fancy their chances of picking up a win and overhauling Manuel Pellegrini’s City side at the top of the table on Wednesday.

Key player: Sergio Agüero (Manchester City)

If Juve are to have any success in this match, they’re going to have to keep City striker Sergio Agüero quiet. If he wasn’t so injury prone, the Argentine would surely be up with the greatest players on the planet. From outstanding dribbling to a deadly accuracy in front of goal, he’s got just about everything you’d want from a forward and has chipped in with five goals in his last eight games for his club. Don’t be surprised if he makes the difference again here.

When they last met: Manchester City 1-2 Juventus, 15 Sept. 2015

Juventus caused an upset when these sides met at the Etihad in the Champions League's opening matchday. Their dogged defending was undone by a Giorgio Chiellini own goal just short of the hour, though they rallied back and equalized through Mario Mandžukić with 20 minutes remaining. Then, with only nine left on the clock, Álvaro Morata popped up to curl the ball home from the edge of the area to secure what is now proving to be a priceless three points for the Bianconeri.

Juventus injuries and suspensions

Out: Roberto Pereyra (thigh); Hernanes (suspended). In doubt: Patrice Evra (ankle), Sami Khedira, Martín Cáceres (thigh).

Manchester City injuries and suspensions

Out: Pablo Zabaleta (knee); David Silva (ankle); Wilfried Bony, Samir Nasri (hamstring); Vincent Kompany (calf). In doubt: None.

Juve will certainly be without midfielders Pereyra and Hernanes, who are injured and suspended, respectively. Defenders Evra and Cáceres face late fitness tests, as does midfielder Khedira, who suffered a recurrence of a thigh injury in the recent international break.

City have a lengthy injury list comprising defenders Kompany and Zabaleta, creative midfielders Silva and Nasri, as well as striker Bony.
