Watch the wild finish to Everton and Bournemouth’s 6-goal thriller

This is the Premier League at its best.

Everton expected to beat AFC Bournemouth comfortably on Saturday, and looked like they were well on their way when they went up by two goals in the first half. Then the second half happened, with the Cherries fighting back to make it 2-2, setting up this incredible stoppage time slugfest.

Ross Barkley was sure he'd won it, and for good reason. So were the Evertonians, who evaded security and joined a dogpile on the pitch. But Junior Stanislas found what will probably be the latest equalizer you'll see this season, and the match finished 3-3.

That goal could be huge for Bournemouth, who are going to need every lucky point they can get to stay in the Premier League. It could be huge for Everton, too, who need just as many lucky breaks to finish top seven and return to European competition.
