El Clásico has become such a spectacle since Barcelona’s return to the top of La Liga that everyone needs to go out of their way to call it something grander than an awesome soccer match and rivalry. Now, Sergio Ramos and Gerard Piqué are comparing it to sex, because why not.

Piqué says that El Clásico ‘gets him going’. Is it the same for Madrid?”, asked a reporter after Real Madrid’s loss to Sevilla on Sunday.

“We are only worried about ourselves, the league campaign is long and a thousand things could happen,” said Ramos. “Excited? I don’t know, I’ve never reached an orgasm personally during the Clásico but almost.”

Oh, OK. Just almost. I’m sure your wife is relieved that it hasn’t taken you over the edge.
