The draw for the European Championship gets made on Saturday. Here’s how to watch.

The European Championships have expanded their field from 16 to 24 teams in order to give more teams a chance to qualify and, yes, of course, to make more money. This hasn’t resulted in too many poor teams making the tournament, and everyone should be perfectly thrilled with the extra games to watch on TV this summer.
Hosts France are automatically placed as the Pot 1 team in Group A, while the rest will be drawn. Spain, Germany, England, Portugal and Belgium are the other teams that were given top seeds, and cannot be drawn against each other. Italy is the top team in Pot 2, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Sweden could make a nightmare matchup for someone from Pot 3. And from Pot 4, no one wants to see Turkey or Wales land in their group.
Draw date/time: Dec. 12, 12 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. local
Location: Paris, France
TV: ESPN2 (U.S.), BBC2 (U.K.), TSN4 (Canada).
Online: The draw will be streaming live on UEFA.com, and you can catch it on Watch ESPN in the United States.
