Raul Meireles, who is still awesome, scored a screamer today

Fenerbahçe lost today. At home. To Akhisar Belediyespor, who entered the game in 15th place in the Turkish Super Lig. It’s a really bad result, but instead of focusing on that, we’re going to choose to remind everyone that Raul Meireles is awesome.

Look at this goal. It’s amazing. The whole build-up is gorgeous and then Meireles just smacks it into the top corner like it’s nothing.

In addition to his scoring of great goals, we love Meireles because he looks like this.

He’s like a professional philosopher and the coolest friend you’ve ever had at the same time. He’s the badass college professor who picked up your bar tab. We hope he lives forever.
