Manchester City vs. Barcelona 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The Champions League Round of 16’s marquee fixture is here.

Manchester City’s Champions League draw has been absolutely brutal to them. They managed to get out of a group with Bayern Munich, AS Roma and CSKA Moscow, for which they’ve been rewarded with one of the most difficult Round of 16 draws possible -- a date with FC Barcelona.

For both City and Barca, this season has been a bit of a grind. Both sit second in their domestic leagues, and they’re very much favorites to remain in those spots. City’s new signings haven’t quite worked out, while Luis Suarez is only now just starting to click with superstar teammates Lionel Messi and Neymar. This season has been slightly disappointing, but not yet disastrous for these side. It will become disastrous for one of them after losing this tie.

Even though City are at home in the first leg, they’re underdogs due to the absence of Yaya Toure, who is suspended. The pair of Fernando and Fernandinho haven’t been great together, so Manuel Pellegrini might be tempted to use Frank Lampard from the start. James Milner -- another possibility in the center -- is nursing a knee injury, though he should make the 18-man squad. Barcelona’s only absences are Thomas Vermaelen and Douglas, who are perpetually injured and probably wouldn’t be playing anyway.
