Michael Bradley scores directly from a corner kick for USMNT

OLIMPICO!

The USMNT is closing out its winter training camp with a friendly against Panama. It started out as a mostly dull affair for the United States, with Panama getting most of the good chances ... that is, until Michael Bradley stepped up to take a corner.

It looked at first like Jozy Altidore had gotten a touch on the ball to turn it in, but no: Michael Bradley just scored an Olimpico, a goal directly from a corner kick. That’s something you just don’t get to see very often, and it’s freaking awesome.

Many have expressed concern in recent months about what exactly Bradley’s best role with the national team is now. It seems fairly obvious: official corner kick taker.
