UEFA Champions League Quarterfinal draw results

Follow along live as the Champions League quarterfinal draw is made.

You are looking live at the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal draw, which is being made at 12 p.m. local time, 7 a.m. ET in Nyon, Switzerland. The Round of 16 wrapped up on Wednesday, and the remaining eight teams will resume play on April 14.

No English teams remain, with Chelsea going out last week, then Arsenal and Manchester City joining them this week. La Liga is dominating at the moment, and unsurprisingly its three strongest teams are still in Champions League. It’s also been a surprisingly good year for Ligue 1, the only other league with two teams. Germany lost three teams in the last round, but their remaining representative -- Bayern Munich -- look like the favorites to win it all at present.

This is the first stage of the competition in which the draw is completely open. In the Round of 16 draw, teams could not be matched up against the other team from their group or any team in their country. Now, anyone can be drawn against anyone. This means that Real Madrid can face off against local rivals Barcelona or Atlético Madrid, and that we can have some rematches from the group stage, like Atléti-Juventus and Barca-PSG.

Here’s the draw. Click on each matchup for a preview of that tie.
