Assuming they’ve already achieved total market saturation, Barclays won’t be renewing their sponsorship of the Premier League. The league has been called the Barclays Premier League for sponsorship reasons since 2001, which is long enough that there are lots of people who think ‘BPL’ is a perfectly acceptable thing to call England’s top flight.
