Post-World Cup friendlies have not been nice to the United States men’s national team, who have fallen apart late in the second half of nearly all of their matches. They took the lead twice on Denmark in their first friendly of this international break, then conceded twice in the final 10 minutes to lose the match. They’ll be hoping to avoid a repeat performance against Switzerland on Tuesday.

Can the United States improve on their loss against Denmark?

Switzerland are coming off a competitive match, and might rotate heavily to rest some of their stars and get a look at other players. They had no problem posting a win in their European Championship qualifying match on Friday, posting a 3-0 home win over Estonia.

The U.S. will be forced into at least one lineup change in this game due to an injury. Aron Johannsson, who started the last match, will not play in this game. Stanford standout Jordan Morris, who scored in a U-23 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina on Friday, has been called into the squad to take his place.
Klinsmann has gone to two very different lineups during breaks where he's had two back-to-back games, and this should be no different. Expect to see six or seven new faces in the United States starting XI to face Switzerland.
