Sevilla vs. Barcelona 2015: Time, TV schedule and live stream

Sevilla could made life difficult for La Liga leaders Barcelona on Saturday.

Barcelona will look to extend their run of six straight La Liga wins away at Sevilla on Saturday, as Luis Enrique’s side continue their push for the title. Their comfortable 4-0 victory away at Almería on Wednesday saw them move four points clear of Real Madrid at the top with only nine games of the campaign remaining. Their reclaiming the title from Atlético Madrid looks increasingly likely.

Sevilla, however, certainly won’t make life easy. Unai Emery’ side are currently up in fifth place, separated from third by just our points. Champions League qualification remains a very realistic possibility. They’ve so far managed to balance their impressive domestic campaign with a Europa League title defence, an they could well pick up a point or three at the Pizjuán.

Key player - Grzegorz Krychowiak (Sevilla)

One of the keys to Sevilla's success this season has been Polish midfield anchorman Grzegorz Krychowiak. He has done a tremendous job of protecting his back four since arriving from French club Reims last year, and will have to be even more on-guard than normal in this match.

Key matchup - Sevilla's counter-attack vs. Barcelona's defence

Sevilla may be at home in this game, but they’re still very unlikely to win the possession battle. With Barça one again likely to see the lion’s share of the ball, it’ll be up to the hosts to use their attacking pace to slice their Catalan visitors open. With ample width provided by the likes of José Antonio Reyes and Vitolo, that shouldn’t be a problem. Watch out, Barça.

Sevilla injuries and suspensions

Out: Sebastián Cristóforo (knee), Mariano Barbosa (hamstring), Beto (thigh). In doubt: None.

Barcelona injuries and suspensions

Out: None. In doubt: Jordi Alba, Thomas Vermaelen (hamstring).

Sevilla will still be without young centre-back Sebastián Cristóforo, who underwent knee surgery, while goalkeepers Mariano Barbosa and Beto are both sidelined. Sergio Busquets returns from suspension for Barça, though this game will likely come too soon for injured defenders Jordi Alba and Thomas Vermaelen.
