Real Sociedad score crazy running volley off 40-yard switch pass

Gonzalo Castro didn’t break stride to score a gorgeous volley for Real Sociedad against Deportivo la Coruña.

It’s hard to score off a volley, especially when you have to run to get to the end of the assist. Stopping to get set and aim your body correctly to get the shot on target is not easy at all to do, and most who try wind up not getting the shot on target, assuming they even get the shot away.

Or you could be like Gonzalo Castro and not stop running.

He might not be human. Castro slows down so he doesn’t overrun the cross, but he never actually stops before falling after taking his shot, but that doesn’t matter since he scored off a volley on the run.
