For the third time this season and the fifth time in two years, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona face off in the Champions League on Wednesday. The Blaugrana topped PSG in the group this year and knocked them out of last year’s Champions League, but the Parisians have been very good in their two home matches.
PSG vs. Barcelona 2015 live stream: How to watch Champions League online
Paris Saint-Germain got knocked out by Barcelona in last year’s Champions League and finished behind them in the group this season. Can they finally better the Blaugrana?
PSG beat Barca at Parc des Princes early in the season, but couldn’t repeat the feat at Camp Nou. They’d like to put themselves in a position to avoid needing an away victory -- or even draw -- by posting a multi-goal win at home, but that’s easier said than done with their biggest stars missing.
The Blaugrana are mostly fit, with only a couple of players missing. Thomas Vermaelen is back in training, but isn't going to play, while Dani Alves is suspended for Barcelona. Paris Saint-Germain's problems are quite a bit more serious. Marco Verratti, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Serge Aurier are all out, while there are doubts over the fitness of Thiago Motta and David Luiz.
