Hull City vs. Liverpool live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Can the Tigers boost their survival hopes at home to Liverpool?

Liverpool continue their fight for fifth place away at Hull City on Tuesday. Heading into the round, only goal difference keeps Brendan Rodgers’ outfit above Tottenham Hotspur in the table, as they look to book their place in the Europa League next season. They still mathematically have a chance of making it into the top four, though with Manchester United having a seven-point advantage, that seems unlikely.

Hull certainly shouldn’t make life easy for Liverpool at the KC Stadium, as they’re still very much in the relegation scrap. They’re just a point above Sunderland and the bottom three, with one of the toughest run-ins of all the sides at the messy end of the table. They’ll be looking to make the most of this game-in-hand against a Liverpool team that have had a pretty poor campaign so far.

Key player - Raheem Sterling (Liverpool)

Raheem Sterling got off to a very promising start to the season, and deputised for the constantly injured Daniel Sturridge to good effect. However, he's failed to really push on, and scored only once in the past couple of months. He'll be looking to take advantage of Hull's shaky defence to finally add to his seven-goal Premier League haul in this match.

Key Matchup - Ahmed Elmohamady vs. Liverpool's left-back

Hull’s (currently injured) left wing-back Andy Robertson has right earned himself plaudits with a string of excellent performances this season, though that has allowed their other wide man, Ahmed Elmohamady, to fly under the radar somewhat. The Egyptian is a brilliant player in one-on-one battles, and has an accurate cross as well. Whoever starts at left-back for Liverpool in this game will have to try and keep him quiet, as he’ll likely be Hull’s main attacking outlet.

Hull City injuries and suspensions

Out: Nikica Jelavić, Robert Snodgrass (knee), Curtis Davies (thigh), Andrew Robertson (ankle), David Meyler (suspended). In doubt: Mohamed Diamé (knee).

Liverpool injuries and suspensions

Out: Mamadou Sakho (hamstring), Daniel Sturridge (hip), Lucas Leiva (thigh). In doubt: Alberto Moreno (knock)

Hull City have a string of first-teamers out, including centre-back Curtis Davies and wing-back Andrew Robertson. David Meyler misses out through suspension, though his midfield counterpart Mohamed Diamé could return from a knee injury in time to play. As for Liverpool, they’ll still be without centre-back Mamadou Sakho, midfielder Lucas Leiva and striker Daniel Sturridge, though Alberto Moreno could be involved.
